Oatmeal Porridge

oatmeal
water
milk
salt
golden syrup


Boil some water with a little salt in it, sprinkle oatmeal in slowly, stirring gently for 15 or 20 minutes until it is thick enough.
Pour it at once on to the plates from which it is to be eaten, and serve with cold milk or a little syrup or your favourite fruit.
